Come and stay with us at our beautiful country estate, our cosy winemakers cottage offers an ideal stay for short and long breakaways, peace and quiet to write your memoirs, explore the many hiking and cycling trails on the doorstep to Sanparks forest, plenty of sipping and savouring our wines and bubbly from our vineyard, eat eggs benedict for breakfast and enjoy handcrafted farmhouse cheeses made using produce from the farm.

Country House Retreat

From R900 – R1100  per person per night sharing – minimum 2 adults [Sleeps six adults only]. Extra adults FROM ONLY R700 pppn! For a single person occupancy the house is R1500.00 per day

The Country House is a spacious thatched farmhouse with plenty of room, it has 3 large double bedrooms all with en-suites, sweeping views over the farm, large terrace with braai for outside dining. If you are looking for a destination where you can re-connect with nature, completely switch off,relax and unwind you are at the right place.

Bottlebrush Cottage is a pretty, double storey, self catering thatched cottage with a romantic bedroom upstairs with doors opening onto your own private elevated deck and a very spacious and welcoming open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room.

R1600 to R1900 per night  maximum of 2 addults. 

A pretty farm cottage nestled amongst the trees, cosy and private,  open plan living area with enclosed and very private deck to the front and small terrace to the rear. Log burner for the cooler days, first bag is for free, additional wood available for purchase.  Charcoal braai (not wood), gas cooker. Amazing cycle and hiking trails on the doorstep.

Handcrafted Cheese Lunches

Points to note:

When you stay at one of our properties, please bear in the mind the following:

  • Low Season: May – November | High Season: December – April
  • We have a minimum stay of 2 nights during the year apart from the Christmas period – min stay 10 nights
  • Always call or email us direct to discuss longer stay, we will always try to make a plan and offer you a more competitive rate.
  • Prices are based on a per night basis at the cottage
  • The braai at the cottage is for use with charcoal please no wood braais
  • The owners have a private pool which may be available with notice for a swim please ask one of the staff members to enquire.
  • Visit our wine tasting room to sip our wines and bubbly or visit us for lunch to enjoy our handcrafted cheese lunch made from our own produce, for breakfast we serve Eggs Benedict until 11am.
  • Plettenberg Bay is closer just 20 minutes away and Knysna 25 minutes.
  • If you require housekeeping please book well in advance we can provide you with details of local cleaning companies in high season.
  • Android tv available, wifi,  we are in the countryside and the signal can be difficult on occasion always a good idea to bring a bit of extra date..
  • As a sustainable farm we are extremely diligent in conserving as much water as possible,  it is our most precious commodity. Linen is changed once a week, towels every 3 days, this results in a huge saving of water and guests can rest assured that their hosts are providing an environmentally responsible holiday stay.  Please be diligent throughout your stay and save water, should you notice a leak around the property please report it.
  • Breakages or damages to the cottage facilities during your stay will be charged accordingly.

Our Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing, cancellation charges apply as follows:

More than one month prior to check in no fore-fit full refund

15-30 days prior to check in fore-fit 25% of deposit refund except for Xmas holidays no refunds available

14 days prior to check in fore-fit 50% of deposit refund except Xmas holidays no refunds available

Accommodation must be paid in full at least 21 days prior to arrival
