We recently went to Packwood for a wine tasting and lunch. I am a professional in the wine industry and regularly attend tastings at different vineyards.
Packwood was truly a breath of fresh air, it is a truly unique concept and definitely worth a visit.
The wines are unique and really expresses the terroir of the area. Ashley hosted the tasting, he is very knowledgeable and his outgoing personality just adds to the experience and atmosphere.
The lunch is also truly an amazing experience, everything is grown on the farm and freshly prepared. The cheeses are spectacular and something that any “Foody” should try. The prices are also very reasonable, specially if one compares them to the larger Estates in the more “Familiar” wine areas. Well worth the visit and they will see me again.
