Packwood is all about comfort and relaxation,   Ideal for the longer stays, we have a min booking policy of 3 nights for the smaller catering cottages and a min of 5 nights for the main country house out of season and during the December holidays a min of 10 nights.  To explore the Garden Route and benefit from its many activities you will need plenty of time.   Staying longer will finally give you the chance to unpack your suitcase, explore the area and have a good rest.

Packwood House has 3 large en-suite double rooms all individually styled with warm African colours in a home from home environment, put your feet up and relax, extremely affordable at R3250.00 per day (inc housekeeping) sleeping a maximum of 6 adults only.  If you would like Ilsa to prepare breakfast and dinner this can be arranged with prior notice and at an extra charge, available Mon-Fri exc public holidays, her talents are many, from hearty farmhouse breakfasts to spicy chicken curries and delicious chocolate mousse cakes, freshly caught steamed fish with ginger and spring onion and homegrown lemon cheesecakes are just a few treats.  You can choose the option of providing Ilsa with the ingredients or us purchasing the ingredients giving you more time to enjoy your holidays.

Packwood also offers an additional three self catering holiday cottages sleeping 2, 4 and 6 persons ideal for young families, giving you the  freedom to come and go as you please, Rates start from R800 per day.   Dinners are available with prior notice for the night of arrival, we will help where we can with breakfasts and dinners at the cottages depending on workload.  We will also provide you with a complimentary starter hamper which will give you time to unwind from your long journey, Plettenberg Bay is our nearest town just 20 mins away and Knysna 25 mins.

Housekeeping is available Mon - Fri exc public holidays on all cottages from 8.30 - 11.30 am.

Packwood's seasonable produce is available for your stay, from home grown beef, chicken and pork to garden herbs and vegetables, and of course Packwood wine, jerseylicious milk, matured cheese and creamy butter.
